Question: "What does it mean when you say in your Terms of Service that you retain the rights to the artwork?"
Answer: “I retain full rights to the artwork” means that I, as the artist, still legally own the piece I created. Even though you commissioned and paid for the artwork, you're paying for a license to use it, not for full ownership of the image itself.
That means I can still:
You’re absolutely allowed to use it for personal purposes (like sharing it online, printing it for yourself, or setting it as a wallpaper), but you can’t resell it, claim it as your own creation, use it for commercial purposes, or alter it without permission.
If you ever need exclusive rights or commercial use, I can offer that through a custom agreement with an additional fee.
